Speech/Language Services

  • Receptive & Expressive Language

Support for children who have difficulty understanding language (receptive) or expressing themselves with words, sentences, and stories (expressive). Therapy may target vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, or overall communication skills.

  • Natural Language Acquisition (Gestalt Language Processing)

Some children learn language in “chunks” or scripts, known as gestalt language processing. Using the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework, we help children move from echolalia and scripts toward flexible, self-generated language—while honoring their unique communication style.

  • Social Communication / Pragmatic Language

Therapy for children who need support with conversation skills, understanding nonverbal cues, perspective-taking, or building relationships with peers.

  • Early Intervention (Birth to 3)

Play-based therapy for toddlers and young children to support early speech, language, and feeding development during the most critical years of growth.

  • Cognitive-Communication Skills

Therapy for children with brain injuries (TBI), developmental conditions, or other challenges that affect attention, memory, problem-solving, and organization in communication.

  • Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)

Evaluation and support for children who use or may benefit from AAC (communication devices, picture systems, or apps). Therapy helps children learn to communicate effectively with tools that fit their needs.

  • Literacy & Language-Based Learning

Therapy to support reading comprehension, written expression, phonological awareness, and other skills that impact academic success.

  • Articulation & Phonology

Support for children who have difficulty producing sounds clearly or following the rules of speech. Therapy focuses on improving speech clarity so others can easily understand your child.

  • Fluency (Stuttering)

Strategies to increase ease of speaking, reduce tension, and build confidence for children who experience interruptions in the flow of speech.

  • Voice & Resonance

Evaluation and treatment for children with voice concerns such as hoarseness, vocal strain, or resonance differences. Therapy promotes healthy, strong, and efficient voice use.

  • Feeding & Swallowing

Assessment and therapy for children who have difficulty chewing, swallowing safely, or tolerating a variety of foods. Therapy supports safe feeding skills and positive mealtime experiences.

  • Parent & Caregiver Coaching

Collaboration with families to provide strategies, resources, and support for encouraging communication growth outside of therapy sessions.
