OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
In addition to speech therapy, Fostering Connections, LLC also provides Occupational Therapy Services to support children in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills. At this time, OT sessions are offered on a limited basis, and we are exploring ways to make this a regularly scheduled service for families.
How OT Can Help
Our occupational therapy services can support children with:
✍️ Fine motor skills – handwriting, grasp, and hand strength
🧩 Sensory processing – managing responses to sound, touch, movement, and environment
👕 Self-care skills – dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines
🤸 Coordination & balance – motor planning, posture, and body awareness
💡 Everyday independence – building confidence in school and at home
